Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

1. Using ClientFinder

ClientFinder helps freelancers discover potential clients and reach out to them by email. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the service. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including the emails you send through it.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. That means, among other things: you will not send outreach to people who have asked you to stop; you will not use purchased, harvested, or stolen contact lists; you will not send unlawful, deceptive, or abusive messages; and you will not attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that put recipients, other users, or our sending infrastructure at risk.

3. Emails you send

You are the sender of record for every email you dispatch through ClientFinder. You must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, and any other law that applies to your messages — including including a valid physical postal address and a working way for recipients to opt out. Every outreach email we deliver includes an unsubscribe link and a List-Unsubscribe header; once a recipient unsubscribes or hard-bounces, we suppress that address for you.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, after which it reverts to the free plan. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Your content and data

You keep ownership of the leads, notes, and email content you put into ClientFinder. You give us only the licence needed to store that data and operate the service on your behalf — for example, connecting a mailbox to send the email you composed. We do not sell your data or your prospects' data.

6. Accounts and termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and will refund any prepaid fees for the unused portion of a billing period when we terminate without cause. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as billing history and disclaimers) will survive.

7. Disclaimers and liability

ClientFinder is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that lead data will be accurate, complete, or current, or that outreach will produce any particular result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact details on the landing page.
